Kate Sullivan is a high-performing strategic communications leader with a journalism background, respected for effecting change and consistently achieving successful outcomes. Kate manages a portfolio of national international clients to deliver best practice communications, advocacy, and engagement services, specialising in renewable energy projects.

Prior to joining Premier Strategy, Kate worked as an Executive Producer and journalist at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) for 19 years, specialising in business and finance. Most recently, as Communications Manager at the City of Melbourne, Kate was the Strategic Communications Lead for Finance, Governance, Planning, Climate Change, Technology and Aboriginal Melbourne Portfolios. Projects included City of Melbourne Budget, 10 Year Finance and Asset Plan, Affordable Housing Plan, Power Melbourne Neighbourhood Batteries Project, Low Emissions Vehicle Plan.

Kate is now a Client Director at Premier Strategy, leading a team of communications and engagement specialists whose expertise and experience spans government and private sector industries, with a particular focus on renewable energy projects.
