Megan is an experienced media and communications professional. She has worked for more than 10 years in communications roles for local government, and as a broadcast journalist and content writer. Languages are also part of her resume. Before joining Premier Strategy, Megan led a high-functioning and high-profile communications team in the local government sector.

Technical Experience

  • Worked for more than ten-years in communications roles for local government, and as a broadcast journalist and content writer.

  • Led a team of up to 15 people as Communications and Design Manager for the City of Ballarat through various periods of change and restructure.

  • Worked closely with the City of Ballarat CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Mayor and Councillors, as well as internal business units and external stakeholders, to build relationships and deliver strategic media and communications advice and outputs.

  • Experience administering multi-million-dollar budgets.

  • Developed and implemented innovative and effective media and communications strategies to promote events, major projects and initiatives as a communications officer.
